Who we are

This website is run by the hosts of 76 Vilhena, a holiday apartment at 76 Vilhena, Floriana, Malta (“we”, “us”). We are responsible for any personal data you share with us through this website. You can contact us at any time at maltasleep@gmail.com.

What this website collects

This is a simple information website. It has no user accounts, no analytics and no advertising trackers, and it does not set cookies. We do not collect personal data simply because you visit it.

When you email us directly

If you email us, we receive your email address, name and anything you include in your message, such as travel dates or the number of guests. We use this only to answer your enquiry and, if you book, to arrange your stay. We do not sell or share it for marketing. We keep enquiry emails only for as long as we need them for these purposes, or as required by law (for example tax and accounting rules).

Booking requests

When you press “Send booking request”, the details you enter (your name, email address, phone number if given, stay dates, number of guests, requests and message) are sent to our email inbox through Web3Forms, a form-to-email service. If that service can't be reached, the form instead lets you send the same request from your own email app.

We use these details only to reply about availability and price and, if you book, to arrange your stay and meet our legal obligations (for example accounting and guest registration requirements).

Third-party services used by this site

• Google Fonts. The typefaces on this site load from Google's servers, so your browser shares your IP address with Google when the page loads. See Google's privacy policy.
• Web hosting. Like any website, our hosting provider may automatically record basic technical information (such as IP address, browser type and the time of your visit) in server logs, used for security and to keep the site running.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to how we use it, or to receive a copy of it. Email maltasleep@gmail.com and we will reply within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to Malta's data protection authority, the Information and Data Protection Commissioner.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
